Ultra-short picosecond pulses
Portable Picosure uses picosecond (1 picosecond = 1 trillionth of a second) laser pulses, which are about 3-8 times faster than traditional nanosecond laser pulses. It relies on photomechanical shock waves to break up pigments rather than thermal effects. This extremely short pulse causes almost zero thermal damage around the skin, improves pigment removal efficiency, and shortens recovery time.
Multi-wavelength
The device switches between 1064nm, 755nm, and 532nm wavelengths to adapt to different pigment types (black, blue, green, red and yellow), especially 755nm for blue-green tattoo pigment removal. The three-wavelength system with different focusing heads (2-10mm adjustable spot) supports deep to superficial pigment localization treatment, improves treatment accuracy through scientific wavelength matching, and enhances pigment removal rate.
Portable design and strong cooling system
The system is small and light, with a typical portable device weighing less than 70kg, making it easy to deploy in clinics. With the dual air-cooling and water-cooling systems (some models also use ceramic reflective chambers and hot and cold self-tests), it can achieve long-term continuous operation at a frequency of 1-10Hz per second.
